Alessandro Schiattarella

Alessandro Schiattarella is a Neapolitan performer, choreographer, and artistic co-director of UNFRAME (IntegrART), the Swiss network for inclusive performing arts. He lives in Basel and creates multidisciplinary works that engage with ableism from autobiographical, social, and political perspectives. A former soloist with renowned companies such as Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Ballet Basel, and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, his works have been presented at international festivals and events including the Swiss Dance Days and the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale.

With a strong interest in fragility and transformation, Alessandro collaborates with artists to challenge ableism and open up new perspectives for audiences.
