Lea Moro, born in Switzerland, works as a choreographer, curator, dramaturge and cultural manager in Zurich and Berlin. She studied at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri (BA Theatre), the LABAN Centre in London (Diploma in Dance Studies) and the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (BA Dance, Context, Choreography). In 2019/20 she took part in the one-year university course 'Curating in the Scenic Arts' at the Paris Lodron University Salzburg and the LMU Munich. In addition to her diverse commitments in art and culture, she is interested in sustainable and systemically orientated thinking and action. In 2018/19, she completed training in 'Systemic Organisational Consulting' at artop - Institute at the Humboldt University of Berlin and in 2023 attended further training in strategic sustainability management at the Institute for Future Culture in Berlin. In 2024, Lea Moro will complete her Master's degree in Development and Cooperation I International Relations at the NADEL Institute at ETH Zurich. Since 2013, Lea Moro has realised eleven choreographic works and founded the platform Work it Out (since 2021). Her artistic projects are aimed at and involve a young audience, amateurs and older people. The projects and performances take place both on the classical theatre stage and in site-specific spaces and interdisciplinary contexts. She has been working as a dramaturg in the dramaturgy pool at Tanzhaus Zürich since 2019. In 2022-23 she worked as a programme dramaturge at the Kaserne Basel and in 2023 she was also involved in the organisation reflector, which accompanies cultural institutions in the transformation process towards an ecologically sustainable working practice. In collaboration with Kunst(Zeug)Haus Rapperswil-Jona (CH), she founded and curated the dance festival Date to Dance (festival editions in 2022 and 2024).
